    It's first foot day.. A Visitor who was not celebrating with you at midnight, preferably with dark hair & bearing gifts
    to wish you luck for the rest of the year..

    The First of First-Foot Tradition

    The observance of the ritual of first footing begins, as a remedy against the blond-haired Vikings invaders.

    If he carries coins, that would mean financial prosperity; short-bread is a sign of full rations in food; salt represents flavor; coal means warmth; and whiskey means celebration.

    My Ex brought round a TV as his mother got a new one for Christmas & a loaf of bread. Lol!

    I hope this year is a whole lot better than last for everyone.. Happy New Year! :o)
