  • Hello Everyone,

Here is a Greek Recipe for you to try. 😍

    🇬🇷 Souvlaki

You simply cannot go to Greece without experiencing souvlaki. It's a major Greek street food, and the word Souvlaki simply means "meat on skewers." But Greeks also use it to describe the actual meal; warm pita, loaded with perfectly marinated grilled meat and topped with sauce.

    Ready in: 1h 10 minutes
    Servings: 6-8

    Ingredients

800 Grams Pork, cut in 2 cm chunks
    100 ml Olive Oil
    ½ Lemon
    2 tsp. of Mustard
    1 tsp. Dried Oregano
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    8 Pita Breads
    1-2 Red Onions
    1 Tomato, sliced
    Tzatziki
8 Wooden Skewers, soaked in water

    1. Cut the pork in chunks of approximately 2 cm. Place it in a bowl and combine with olive oil, juice from the lemon, mustard and oregano. Mix well, cover and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

    2. Take your skewers and cut them to the size of your griddle pan. Push the pork pieces through the skewers and switch on the heat.

    3. Heat up your griddle pan on high heat and cook the skewers for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and cooked through. Alternatively, you can cook the skewers on the grill.

    4. Meanwhile, heat up a small pan to cook the pita breads. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and oregano. Pita breads need 1-2 minutes on each side.

    5. Stuff your pita breads with the grilled meat, tomatoes, onions and dollops of tzatziki.

I've not tried Greek food, has anybody else?😍
    All the best,
