The cooler weather is starting to come in! It's now scarf weather! I enjoy making these beautiful, warm, soft double color crocheted scarves and other items!
I use different types of yarn to make these scarves. I buy a lot of yarn from Amazon because I can't always find what I am looking for in the stores. Sometimes I am looking for the metallic yarn. I can find some of them in some of the local craft stores, but the ones I am looking for, and can't find, I will use Amazon to get them. They arrive in good time.
My specialty is Sparkly Scarves. I like using a regular color or mixed color with a colored metallic yarn. They come out really beautiful! I have made some really special ones for people. They tell me the colors they want and I make the scarf(ves). People really love them!
The scarf below was just made for a friend. She told me the colors she likes and I made it for her. She really loves it and can't wait to wear it! It was made with pink and a rose metallic yarn.
I also have scarves that I have already created or ones that have been created and given as gifts. I make a lot of them every year. I also make slim scarves (to accessorize) and key rings. I'm also working on pot holders or you can use them for things like putting plants on or for a collectible figurine.
I usually use acrylic yarn to make these scarves. Acrylic is easy to use, easy to wash and dry. I wash them in unscented laundry soap before I send them to folks or donate or give them as gifts.
I will mix yarns sometimes and I will experiment with other ones. I will use the acrylic ones, chenille ones (soft and fuzzy), mixed colored acrylic yarns, metallic ones, and I even made a glow in the dark one. It was kind of fun to make it and then see it glow in the dark!
The glow in the dark ones would be fun to make for kids. It would help keep them safe and be seen in the dark if they were on their way home, riding their bikes or hanging with friends.
I mentioned slim scarves. These are half the width of the regular scarf that is used as an accessory. You wear it in the office with your shirt, vest or jacket. These do not take long to make.
I also create key rings. These are fun to do! I can make them to match the color of the scarf(ves) and I don't charge extra if ordering a scarf. It keeps me from getting bored and it keeps my hands busy.
I do make scarf(ves) in sports colors as well. So if you want something in team colors, I need the colors (a photo would help) and the type of yarn you would like. It does not take long to make. I do not mind making something special.
I also make cards to go with the scarf(ves) or other items if they are a gift. I have card stock available to make them.
The holiday season is upon us! There are holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and other things that you can gift a scarf, key ring, slim scarf to someone.

Scarves are $40 USD each, Slim Scarves are $20 each, the key rings are $7 (if purchased separately) and the Glow In The Dark ones are $40. I use PayPal for payments. (PayPal accepts Venmo, Apple pay, debit/credit cards.) For multiple items, I can make a better price.
