Traffic Exchange Delivery Comparison
334 Traffic exchanges compared, hits per 1 URL. Ranking updated: November 11, 2024.
Every couple of months, I (Klara who owns Hungry For Hits) test over 300 traffic exchanges to see how much traffic, how many unique visitors and how many repeat views I get to 1 tracker in 24 hours**. These stats will vary from day to day, depending on events in the sites listed, so the score is just a single snapshot in time. If it varies a lot from the last time, I retest it a few day to see if it's a new trend or a single day thing.
I also give each site a grade, but it is my own rating from 1 (worst) to 10 (best) based only on my personal preferences. The grade does not reflect results in any way. It is only based on my opinion about the traffic delivery (I prefer around 100 hits per URL and day), ratio of unique visitors, how many times the URL was shown to the same person (the value in the Max Hits column) and if it's possible to limit traffic delivery.
I personally prefer a Max Hits value below 5, in combination with a high total number of unique visitors. Anything over 10 in max hits is usually bad, but if the ratio between total traffic and unique visitors is high enough, it might be ok.
Unfortunately many sites use a system that rotates websites based on how many members have websites with credits assigned to them (per member rotation type), instead of how many websites there are (per site rotation type). In my opinion, and the way Hungry For Hits operates, the per site rotation type will almost always get a higher ranking.
Why so many with a low grade? Well, most of the ones that have a low grade don't deliver any traffic. Many owners don't promote nearly enough, have way too many sites to promote them all, or are not active enough in their sites. If an owner isn't active, why should anyone else be? And unfortunately there are also many owners that see their sites as a hobby and not as a professional business. If it was a professional business, they would work day in and day out with promoting them and improving them. If they did, people would surf there.
* Sites marked with a * in the chart above indicates you can limit the number of hits per hour or day.
** According to LFMTE trackers. Hits to 1 URL with unlimited credits in 24 hours and no restriction in traffic flow where it is possible to set hits per hour or day.
