Why success philosophies don't work?
Some argue that success philosophy is only a short-term motivator.
They are correct.
Because they have not internalized the philosophy, it is only a short-term motivator for them.
Their belief system does not include philosophy.
You must internalize a successful philosophy in order for it to work.
When you do, it will be reflected in your decision, action, and, finally, achievement.
I have internalized a few success philosophies.
For example, one philosophy I hold is that if I don't get what I want, it's because something better is on the way.
Instead of dwelling on my failure, I would look for the better thing that was waiting for me.
True, better things always came to pass.
I was able to internalize those success philosophies for a reason.
Someone invited me to a business talk in my early twenties, when I was looking for ways to succeed.
During the business presentation, I was introduced to the concept of multilevel, 1 refers to 4, 4 refers to 16, 16 refers to 408 and so on.
When I first heard about this concept, I thought, 'Wow, that's an ingenious concept!'
I immediately joined the company.
I had a team of downlines with that MLM company for about a year.
As a self-help junkie, I always shared what I had learned with my friends.
It was a hit with them.
I taught more as I learned more. This lasted about a year.
I can still recite many success philosophies.
I believe that teaching success philosophies is critical.
Why?
Because teaching is the most effective way of internalizing what you've learned.
Keep this in mind,
Your teacher owns what you've learned. What you've taught is yours.
If you can't teach it, you haven't learned anything.
Please teach what you've learned if you haven't already. The person who teaches stands to gain the most!
With the Internet, there are numerous ways to share what you've learned.
You can post it on your blog, newsletter, ebook, podcast, video, and so on. As you share, you are also increasing your traffic, list, and relationships.
Remember that the teacher is the one who learns the most, not the student.

#1: Fear of failure

‘What will people think of me?’
We are creatures of habit, and our subconscious minds are great at keeping us in the same routines or behavior patterns.
Why?
Because there is a certain safety about doing the same things we’ve done before.
Basically, it’s a survival mechanism, which causes us to feel nervous, uncomfortable, or fearful when we even think about doing something different.
And this goes double when it comes to big things like making a career change, starting a business, or moving somewhere new.
We fear what will happen if we FAIL, and our minds are great at coming up with all sorts of inventive negative scenarios.
But the important thing to remember is: If you continue to do exactly the same things, you will continue to get exactly the same results.
Creating wealth doesn’t have to be ‘hard’. But it does involve stepping out of your comfort zone.
#2: Fear of success
‘But what will happen if I get rich?’ ‘What will happen if I get that promotion?’ ‘What will happen if I buy that bigger house?’
‘Will people treat me differently?’
‘Will I become someone ELSE?’
Yes, fear of success is also a very real thing.
Again, this comes down to our natural resistance to change.
For instance, although you may WANT to land that dream job, there is a tiny part of your mind that is stressing out about what will come with that new job…
…a new office, new responsibilities, new people to report to, and higher expectations.
And, underneath it all, you may not feel that you are truly deserving of achieving this kind of success and becoming wealthy, especially if others in your life are struggling.
When in actual fact, you are just as worthy and deserving as anyone else!
#3: You’re suffering from the toxic cash-repelling ‘Scarcity Virus’…
‘I’m just not that lucky’ ‘I don’t have what it takes’ ‘There isn’t enough money to go around’
If you’re frustrated with where things are at in your life and feeling helpless about your finances right now, chances are you are suffering from the toxic, cash-repelling ‘Scarcity Virus’.

For instance, parents, siblings, or friends who provide well-meaning yet unhelpful comments such as, “You just have to work HARDER”.
As I can personally testify to, building your income really isn’t about working double the number of hours and putting in double the effort.
It’s about tuning your mind into what really WORKS.

1. There is an abundance of money in the Universe just waiting for you to let it in.
First of all, there is no shortage of money in this world. There really isn’t.
Money is abundant, and there is plenty available for all who reach for it, including you.

If so, that’s OK. But it may mean that you are operating from a ‘scarcity mentality right now.
A scarcity mindset tells you that there is a lack of money to go around and a lack of opportunities to make money.

You feel anxious and helpless about your finances, and as a result, you never move forward.
On the other hand, is the empowering mindset of abundance.

You will be free from the fear and doubt that previously kept you stuck in a cycle of struggle, and open to a future of financial freedom.

2. Money has no prerequisites. You are already enough.
One of the things about having a scarcity mindset is believing that you have to be a certain kind of person to be wealthy.
For example, that you need to be top-of-the-class smart, have a career in dentistry or law, be a ‘trust-fund baby’, or a workaholic that never has time for fun.
The truth is, wealth has no ‘prerequisites’ – ANYONE can become wealthy, no matter what their background.
And whether or not you realize it yet, you have your own special strengths and talents that have the potential to bring great wealth into your life!
In fact, you may not believe it right now but I guarantee that there is an opportunity waiting for you to turn one of your passions into a source of income… you just need to recognize it.
3. You are not limited by your past.
It doesn’t matter what has happened in your past, your age, or how ‘bad’ you may have been with money… you can still manifest a future of wealth and abundance!
It happened to me. At the lowest point in my life, I was $80,000 in credit card debt, literally living in my office, and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. I just couldn’t see a way out of it.

4. Everyone deserves the chance to live a rich, happy life.
Does that family down the road living in that 2-story mansion and driving late-model BMWs really deserve wealth more than you do?
No way.
You, just as much as anyone, deserve the chance to live your richest, happiest life.
So if money troubles are preventing you from living that life right now - a life where you are free to live the way you want - then it’s time to look at your relationship with money and how it is affecting the energy you are producing.
If you are feeling unhappy, frustrated, or fearful about your finances, unfortunately, these emotions will be causing you to manifest only more of what you DON’T want - more doubt, more fear, and more scarcity.
In this situation, trying to manifest wealth is like trying to plant a ‘money tree’ in poisoned soil… it simply won’t grow.
But if you can cultivate a mindset of abundance and self-love, this will be the foundation from which your financial success can flourish.
5. By manifesting wealth in your own life, you can help to enrich the lives of others.
One of the great things about having money is that you can use it to help others. Giving back to help others in need and spreading the message of abundance is incredibly rewarding.
One way you can do this is by donating money or resources to charity.
I personally support a number of charities - particularly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as my Mom died of leukemia and the American Lung Association as my Dad died of emphysema.
Another way to do this is by helping your children to develop an abundant mindset and educating them about managing money so that they too can enjoy an abundant future.

Today we are going to discuss the common mistakes that marketers make when advertising online. By understanding these mistakes and avoiding them, I hope you can improve your success rate in any form of online advertising.
Without further ado, here is the first mistake:
1. Bark Up The Wrong Tree
I once heard a story that goes like this:
Someone once asked a notorious bank robber why he only robbed banks. The robber looked a little surprised and simply answered, ‘That’s where the money is.’
This story becomes popular in the teaching of success philosophy because that’s the essence of success in doing anything. The same principle applies to online advertising. Before you start to advertise, the first question you need to ask is, ‘which online sites do my prospects frequent?’. Whatever the answer is, your challenge is to find ways to reach out to those sites and channel the traffic to your own site.
One common thing I hear from advertisers is they think their product is for everybody. If you think that your product is for everybody and you simply advertise everywhere to get traffic, chances are most of your advertising effort may be wasted.
2. Not Having A Bait
Most advertisers simply use a hook to catch fish instead of using bait. They have a sales page that tries to sell something and they expect people to buy. This will work if the traffic has been ‘presold’. But if the traffic arrives at the sales page without learning about your product from somewhere else, the chance of making a sale is slim. If you have a mechanism to convert them into your list, you may have a second chance. Else, you will miss them forever.
A bait system is different in the sense that the objective is not in the sales. The aim is to reach out to people who can be your potential buyer by giving them part of your product free (not just giving away a freebie to build list, but to give away part of your product to let them have an experience with what you are selling). Say if you are selling a software, you can give away a ‘lite’ version of the software.
The concept of a bait system is very simple. Basically there are only 2 groups of people, let’s call them to group A and group B. Group A are those who are not interested in what you are offering. Group B are those who are interested. In Group B, there are 2 more sub-groups, Group B1 and B2. Group B1 are those who are ready to pay, and Group B2 are those who are not ready to pay. Most advertisers only target Group B1. In a bait system, your target is Group B. Once you have people in Group B in your net, sales is almost guaranteed, provided you deliver true value.
3. Too technical
Everyone knows it is important to prepare a good ad, but most people are too obsessed with the technical details. One typical example is they focus too much on the ‘features’ rather than the ‘benefits’.
You may ask, what’s the difference?
Features are the language for techies whereas benefits are the language for layman. For example, if you are selling a download manager, one of the features of your product may be ‘to be able to split files into parts and download them at the same time’. If you just leave it as it is, it may not make much impact. But if you translate that feature into its benefit, that may mean that your software can ‘download files 4 times faster’. ‘Downloading files 4 times faster’ is a benefit that will appeal to normal users, as compared to telling them about the technical aspect of it.
Another example is if you are selling a course on how to create a WordPress blog, instead of advertising it as ‘how to create a WordPress blog in 1 week’, you should say ‘how to create a money-making blog in 1 week’, or if you have a testimonial to back you up, you can even say ‘how to create a blog that makes $1,337 in its first week, starting from scratch!’.
Just remember, it’s the benefits that will appeal to people, not the technical details or the process of how to do it.
4. Lack Of Following Up
Last but not least, many marketers focus on generating traffic but fail to follow up with the traffic generated. When I say ‘follow up’, I don’t just mean converting the traffic into sales. That part of following up is important, but it’s not the only follow up you need to do. Another follow up that is equally important is encouraging the traffic to promote you.
As I always said, advertising is like a fire starter. You need it to start a fire, but if you want the fire to sustain and grow big, you’ll need to tactfully position lots of charcoal around it. If you are anything like me, you find yourself constantly wading through a sea of email on a daily basis.
Everything from work-related emails to personal emails, funny emails, nonsense emails was probably waiting for you in your email inbox this morning.
Some of these emails may have come from newsletters you are subscribed to, blogs you follow and businesses whose lists you are on. And if you are like me, you found yourself quickly putting emails into three categories: Emails you deleted without taking a second look. Emails you opened right away to at least take a quick glance at.
Emails you kept because you want to see what it’s about but just didn’t have time for at the moment. Some days, you might actually go through and quickly unsubscribe to emails you find annoying or that simply no longer apply to you.
Guess what. Your email marketing subscribers are going through the same process on their end. They are quickly making decisions about the emails they receive, including yours, and they are taking action.
How can you, as a small business owner, make sure that your readers stay subscribed to your emails, open your emails and click through your links to read more? Even better … how can you make sure that your readers share your emails and newsletters with others and bring even more subscribers to your list? The key to this sort of success is to become a highly effective email marketer.
Before we go any further, let’s cleat that when I say “email marketer” I do not mean that you become one of those sleazy spam spewing monsters that loads email inboxes with sleazy slimy offers of little to no value.
What I mean is that you learn and apply tried and tested principles of successful email marketing that can take your email open rates and click-through rates through the roof. Tip #1 Get Your Subscribers’ Permission First
Think about it. Of the emails you receive every day, when you get some email offer that you know you did not actually ask for, your first instinct is to delete the message, right? Make sure you are sending email messages to only those subscribers who have actually requested the information.
But when you get emails that you know you have asked for, you are more inclined to read them right away or to save them for future review. Your subscribers are the same way. Always make sure you get the permission of people to send them emails. Do not add people to your list without permission even if they are past customers or current ones. Direct them to your sign-up page or capture page so they can request your information for themselves.
Tip #2 Pay Attention To What Your Audience Wants
Be sure you actually do your homework before you send out emails You should regularly be using tools like Google alerts, conduct surveys, participate in online forums and keep an eye on your competitors’ sites to keep in touch with the latest trends. When you pay attention to and answer the questions your audience is asking, your message is simply more relevant.
This simply means your email marketing message is more likely to be opened.
Tip #3 Have a Specific Purpose
Never start writing an email marketing message without first deciding what it is you want to accomplish.
Why are you sending this email, to begin with? Are you wanting to deepen your relationship with your subscribers? Are you wanting to send your readers to a particular page on your web site or blog?
Are you wanting your readers to share the article with their associates? Are you wanting to make your readers an offer? Be absolutely clear on what you want to achieve before you even start writing your message. If your message is unclear, even if it gets opened, it is highly unlikely your readers will take any action at all, much less the action you want them to take.
Tip #4 Write To One Specific Person
Who is your ideal reader? Write your messages for that one ideal reader. You should know exactly who would be interested in hearing from you. You should also know who might not be a good fit.
Becoming this specific improves the chances of your message resonating with your target audience and your response rate can go through the roof. If you try to create a message so broad it won’t offend or target anyone, in particular, there is a big chance your message will appeal to no one.
Tip #5 Address One Person
Never start an email with “Hi, Friends” or “Hello, Everyone”. This makes your message look like mass spam.
Sure, you are writing to everyone on your big list. Every ready knows this but they still want to feel like you are speaking directly to them. Be sure to use the merge tokens in your email management program to automatically populate first names. Then, as you create your message, imagine writing it to that one ideal prospect that you want to do business with you.
Avoid group phrases like “As you all know” or “most you already realize that … ”
Tip #6 Stay Consistent
When people sign up to your list, they are basically letting you know they want to hear from you. They are placing their trust in you. Never take that for granted. Never send them content they didn’t ask for. Don’t email too much. Don’t send anything but promotional emails all the time. Being Consistent means fulfilling the promise you made to them. Remain consistent in your desire to be of service to your readers.
Tip #7 Create Subject Lines that Beg To Be Clicked
The first step to getting a click-through is to make sure your message gets read in the first place. The key is to create a subject line that makes your readers want to click on it just to find out what’s in the message.
Tip #8 Don’t Deceive Your Readers
Don’t you hate when you click an exciting subject line that captures your interest only to find out that the content doesn’t have anything to do with the subject? This technique is called “bait and switch” and if you do it, your subscribers will start removing themselves from your list very quickly. They feel tricked. You have violated their trust and they don’t want to read any more messages from you.
Make sure to give your readers what you promised in the subject line. If you want to use ultra-casual email subject lines such as ‘hey’ or ‘I forgot to tell you …” or ‘have you ever felt this way?”, give them content that is personal because this is what they expect. If you promise benefits or actionable tips in your subject line, then give them that. If you tell them that an offer is about to expire, then this is the information they expect and not a link to another offer.
When writing your subject lines, follow the 4U formula (Urgent, Unique, Ultra-specific and Useful) follow up on the promise for the continued trustworthy relationship.
Tip #9 Avoid Spammy Words and tricks.
You know those emails where people intentionally mask common spam words or just type use them. These are the messages that typically end up in your spam or junk folder, or they just don’t get through. Pay attention. If you do that same stuff, chances are that your messages are not going to get through.
Tip #10 Create Messages People WANT To Read
Remember that time you signed up to someone’s list, got a confirmation and welcome message and then … silence? Maybe you heard from them again a few weeks later but by then you had forgotten that you ever asked for the information.
Stay in touch with your subscribers on a regular basis. Send them your content as soon as they sign up. This builds your credibility with your readers and makes them more likely to want to hear from you again.
This is one of the great benefits of using an AutoResponder service. You can schedule several messages in advance and let the system send them out automatically. This helps keep your brand in front of your subscribers and helps build your reputation as a dependable resource.
Tip #11 Stay True To Your Brand
Your email message doesn’t have to be extremely fancy but should look and feel like your web site or blog. If you have a logo on your site, include the logo in your email marketing template. This helps you ready feel like they are dealing with someone who is professional and reliable.
Tip #12 Help Your Readers Reach a Goal

Train Your Mind.
Skip this step and none of the other steps will matter. If you are serious about getting MLM results, you absolutely MUST get your mind right. How do I do this? I attend online and offline training events to increase my knowledge of my company and the industry.
I read books by and about other successful people. These stories can include people involved with network marketing and people not involved with network marketing. It’s about getting my mind in line with the way other successful people think.
There will be tough times. There will be distractions. There will be setbacks. This is why you MUST train your mind to stay focused on your goals and the processes that lead to success. Without this step, nothing else will help you.
How do you spot someone with a mind trained for success? They aren’t complaining. They aren’t jumping from one program to another. They aren’t making excuses. They are attending webinars. They are reading personal development books. They are constantly learning and contributing.
List Building.
I use free and paid traffic resources, advertising resources, traffic exchanges, social media, etc… to constantly build my list of prospects who are LOOKING FOR the kind of information I offer.
This is why I do not have to chase down friends and family. The people I talk to are people who WANT to know more and have requested information. A targeted prospect list is an incredibly valuable business asset and should never be overlooked. How do I build my list? All of my advertising and posts direct visitors to my capture page where they can request more information.
When they fill out the form, they are added to my list for follow up and they get the requested information. This happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
By the time I hear from them, they have typically seen my videos, read my information, and have a few questions. This makes it much easier to talk to them AND helps to disqualify those who are not serious.
This is a HUGE part of getting MLM results, no matter what business you are involved with.
Content Creation.
When I write articles for my blogs, I will typically focus my content on how to solve a problem. The content may be about helping businesses use email marketing to grow, helping network marketing professionals learn how to generate online leads, and other related topics.
The articles are designed to answer questions and provide solutions. Most of the time, my articles will also include an option for visitors to request more information by filling out a form.
This takes us back to Step 2. Along the way, I get to meet new people, make new contacts, even make new friends and build my lists. This helps build credibility and good rapport. That leads to sales. Not everybody who reads my content wants to do business with me. But some do. And that is when the fun starts all over again!

They may make a few initial sales, but then see any income grind to a halt as the loophole becomes outdated.

There are two types of membership on offer, a free version and a paid version which should cost $97 per month but is on offer now for $97 for a full year.
I know that it is always tempting to go with the free version of anything but in this case, an investment of $97 for what basically equates to 24 of the high-quality review sites is something of a no brainer.
Don’t get me wrong, if you decide to go for the free version you will still be able to go out there and make money, but it will be far easier to make sales with the paid versions.
The big difference between the two types of review sites is that the ones which come with the paid membership are video sales letters.
Believe me when I say that there is a big difference between the two when it comes to how well they convert.
These are not that kind of video sales letters which are based around someone speaking over a PowerPoint presentation but instead, professional actors who expertly use powerful techniques to explain the benefits of the products which are being promoted.
The subjects of the review sites in the Super Sales Machines that I reviewed are about as far removed from the usual ‘internet marketing’ niches and this is one of the reasons why I am so impressed by this membership
The four review sites which I reviewed promoted the following Clickbank products and I wouldn’t blame you if you had not even considered entering some of these markets before.
The thing to remember is that large numbers of people are passionate about these subjects to the point that they sometimes think of nothing else.

If you eat dairy, choose low-fat or skim varieties. Beans, peas, lentils, and sunflower seeds are good sources of folate, which is essential to make and repair DNA. Fish is one of the best foods to eat and is recommended twice a week. Salmon is preferred because it has a lot of Omega-3s and wild salmon is recommended because many farmed salmon are said to contain PCBs, a type of toxin. Sardines are also recommended and are a good source of calcium. A number of studies have shown that regularly eating a small handful of raw nuts (especially walnuts and almonds) may have protective properties against cardiovascular diseases. 7. Find life's purpose: Having a purpose in life is even more important than a reason to get out of bed in the morning. It's also good for your brain. Researchers at Rush University Medical Center found that people who scored high on a life purpose test were 2.4 times less likely to develop Alzheimer's than those with the lowest scores. It's never too late to find something that you truly care about, start a project or volunteer for something that is meaningful for you.

Partner with your doctor: Consult with your doctor before making any changes to your diet or exercise regime because changes, including supplements and foods, may interfere with your medicines or aggravate certain conditions. For example, one study suggested that eating broccoli and cauliflower twice per week was linked to at least 20% less cancer (for some types of cancer) but both broccoli and cauliflower may not be good for some people with thyroid problems. 9. Don't forget to floss: Daily flossing and brushing aren't just critical for healthy teeth and gums. They also might help keep your brain healthy. That's because your teeth can be a major source of inflammation as well as infection, both of which may cause damage in the brain, heart, and other parts of the body. Some scientists believe that the inflammation caused by gum disease might increase the risk of Alzheimer's.
10. Protect your head: Some studies have linked moderate-to-severe head trauma to two to four times the risk of Alzheimer's. Protect your head and avoid activities that pose a high risk of brain injury, like texting while driving which has been found to increase the chance of a car crash by 23 times. Five major studies have shown that bicycle helmets reduce the risk of brain injury by as much as 88 per cent. Don't panic if you've already hit your head, there are a number of factors including what area was hit and how long you were unconscious for but take extra care to protect your head from now on.
11. Positive attitude matters! The Nun Study tracked 678 nuns over the course of their lives and found that nuns who described their lives with more positive emotion words not only lived longer but also were healthier. There seemed to even be a neuroprotective effect that surprised scientists and will warrant further research. You can practice optimism and break the habits of cynicism or ungratefulness. Look for the opportunity or lesson in each challenge and practice random acts of kindness. One study showed that people who think of five reasons to be grateful before bed daily reported feeling happier after just 21 days.
12. Decide to live better right now: Just reading the tips isn't enough; to potentially improve your health and life you'll need to take action. Program into your phone, computer, or calendar a monthly reminder that says, "Live Better". Every month you see the reminder, ask yourself what incremental change you can make to live better. Every once in awhile, I am asked why I love network marketing. And, it’s a conversation I enjoy having as I find out a lot of people still really don’t know what network marketing is.
The simplest explanation I can give someone is, “Imagine referring your friends to a movie you really enjoyed and the movie theatre paying you a commission every time your referrals bought tickets.”. Most people understand that part pretty easy.
Then, I go on to say, “Now imagine the people you referred start doing the same thing. They can get commissions every time their referrals buy movie tickets. AND … since you are the one who showed them how to do it, you get a little bit of commission, too.”
And that is one of the reasons I love network marketing. It really is pretty simple to understand. There can be more complicated systems available, but my favourite way to think of it is “connecting consumers to products and services they enjoy”.
I also love the idea that I can decide my income. I can earn more or less depending on how effective I am at prospecting, selling, and training.
Traditional jobs pay you an hourly wage or a salary and you have virtually zero chance of making that income go up.
The only way to earn more is to take on more hours if you can, put in overtime if you can, or take on another job. Not exactly a liberating way to build income and create potential financial freedom.
Another reason why I love network marketing is that you have the power of residual income. It really makes sense to learn the difference. To help you understand what network marketing is, we should probably start with what it isn’t.
First, network marketing is not at all like any pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are scams similar to chain letters where people just “invest” money based on the promise that other people will put in money that will magically filtrate back to them and somehow, they will get rich. Some people do actually make a lot of money through network marketing. But it important to recognize that their financial benefit is always the result of their own dedicated efforts (actual work) in building an organization that sells real products and services to real customers.
Pyramid schemes are illegal. They are based on taking advantage of people. For a person to actually make money in a pyramid scheme, someone else has to lose money. Let that sink in.
If the only way for you to win is for someone else to lose,

When this happens, the person that made the money is the person that sold you the app or program.
Now, if the program, app, ebook, etc.. that you bought has good applicable information, you can apply that information and start to make money online.
Here is a bottom line reality for those who want to make money online or offline. Money is actually made when a product or service is sold.
You might as well hear it from me. If you aren’t prepared to embrace the process of selling, you are simply not ready to make money online (or offline). There is no such thing as a product or service that “sells itself”.
There are products and services that are easier to sell than others. But the bare bones reality is that sales are how money is made.
Now, WHAT you sell is a decision that only you can make. It can be products or services that you create. It can be products or services created by someone else.
Many people have developed incredible incomes selling products and services created by someone else.
Salespeople, affiliate marketers, network marketers, and brokers around the world are making fantastic incomes selling products and services created by someone else.

If you have created or found the product or service you want to sell, there are two big steps you absolutely must do if you want to actually make money online.
These are the two steps I am constantly focused on. Anybody I personally know who are making good money online is focused on these two steps on a regular basis.
Any time I run across someone who is struggling to make money online, I ask them about these two steps and they are typically not focused on them at all.
At best, they are sort of playing with these two concepts. Get these two things right and you will be making money online.

Now, let’s break these two steps down.
Traffic: I am going to upset a few people with my next statement. There is only one kind of traffic: PAID Traffic. Even the so-called “free traffic” some people are excited about has a cost: Your time. Your time is worth money. Settle that right now. You are going to pay for your traffic with either your time, your money, or both.
When I first started out, I spent a lot of time earning “free” traffic. I participated in traffic exchanges. I interacted with others in discussion forums and blogs relevant to my market. (I still do). When I started converting some of that traffic to paying customers, I put some of that money into buying advertising.
Where do I buy advertising? I buy advertising on Facebook, Google, Bing, Yahoo, various classified sites (including this site), etc… The traffic exchanges I participate in all offer paid options. Today, instead of clicking for credits, I pay for advertising.
Where Should This Advertising Take People?
This is a BIG key to your success. DO NOT, under any circumstances, take your visitors directly to a sales page!
These new visitors don’t know you (yet). Why would they be willing to click a link and hand their money to you so quickly?
When someone clicks your ad, they should be taken to your capture page. This is where step 2 (Converting Traffic To Customers) begins.
Your capture page can be simple. It can be complex. I have run fancy capture pages with graphics and videos. I have run plain capture pages with a headline and some ad copy.
The important thing is that you have a capture page ready to go and that it has copy compelling enough to entice your visitors to give you their name and email in exchange for more information.
The way you get them to give you their name and email is to offer them a bribe. This can be free information, a free sample, a consultation, a free report. This is a critical step in the process.
Your capture page needs to be attached to a series of pre-written messages (via your autoresponder) that are designed to help you build rapport and increase the “know, like, and trust” factor with your subscribers.
As your readers begin to feel like they know you, start to like you, and can trust you, they are more likely to buy from you.
Let’s review. You want to make money online. To do that, you are going to drive quality traffic to a capture page. When they fill out the form on your capture page, they will begin receiving your letters. Your letters contain the information you offered them and links to whatever is that you are wanting to sell them.
Because they are on your list, you can actually sell to them again and again.
This article is intended to be an introduction to the basics of making money online. There are more details of fine-tuning and mastering the various steps involved. But the biggest part is to recognize that you truly want to make money online, you want to get started with these two steps.

7 Winter Safety Myths about Dogs You Shouldn’t Believe
During the summer months, there’s a lot of talk about the dangers of leaving your dogs out in the summer heat.
However, once winter rolls around, people don’t seem to be as concerned about the temperatures.
Of course, it’s common for people to remind dog owners to bring their pups indoors overnight when the weather drops below freezing. But, other than that, there’s not much to worry about, right?
Wrong.
Sadly, there are a lot of myths about winter weather and dog safety, so today I want to talk about 7 things you simply shouldn’t believe in order to keep your dog safe.

Myth #1 – Fur Protects All Dogs from Cold Weather
All dogs originate from wild dogs. And wild dogs don’t have homes to keep warm in during the winter.
Therefore, all dogs have good enough fur coats to safely stay warm in the winter, right?
The answer is no.
Our dogs’ ancestors were equipped to live in cold-weather climates. And some dogs (such as huskies) are still genetically designed to have fur coats that will keep them warm in harsh climates.
That being said, a large majority of the pet dogs we have now have been bred to have less hair and simply can’t thrive in cold weather anymore.
Some dogs, such as Brittany Spaniels or Chihuahuas, don’t even have a double coat anymore. This puts them at high risk for getting ill or even dying if they are left out in the cold for too long.
If you have a dog that you plan on leaving outside full-time during the winter, you better make sure he is a breed that is designed for cold weather.
Furthermore, even if your dog has the right fur type to live outside in the cold, it’s vital that you provide your pup with a doghouse or some form of shelter he can use to get out of the rain, snow, and wind.
In the wild, a warm den protects wild dogs from freezing to death. Your pup needs the same setup to ensure his safety.
Myth #2 – Dogs Can’t Get Fleas/Ticks in the Winter
A shocking number of people stop using flea and tick meds in the winter to save some money.
After all, it makes sense as most bugs die in the winter, right?
Sadly, this is a very common misconception. In fact, as the temperatures start to drop, bugs often seek refuge in your home to stay warm. And, whether you realize it or not, they can still be lurking around your home, looking for a food source—a.k.a. your dog.
Yes, the likelihood that your dog will get fleas or ticks certainly drops during the winter.
But cold temperatures don’t automatically protect your pet.
To ensure your dog doesn’t end up sick due to ticks and fleas, I recommend you keep an eye on your dog year-round.
If you have reservations about the treatment and want to minimize the usage or save money, then I understand. That’s why I fully recommend you consider using a flea bomb. These bombs will actually kill the flea eggs that are not on your dog and will break the cycle, meaning that you are safe from fleas for longer.
Myth #3 – Dogs Don’t Need Paw Protection for Walks in the Snow
Before we leave the house, we put on shoes. The reason: We need to protect our feet.
However, we don’t often give much thought to our pups’ feet when we take our dogs out of the house because their paws are designed to go barefoot.
For this reason, the idea of putting boots on your dog when it snows might not ever cross your mind.
And, honestly, is it really even necessary?
The answer is yes and no.
Think of it like this…
In the winter, people wear gloves to keep their fingers from getting cold. So if you’re out for a long walk or to play in the snow, you’d put your gloves on to keep your hands warm and safe.
On the flip side, if you’re simply running out for a minute to grab the mail, you probably wouldn’t put gloves on because your hands won’t be exposed to the cold for long.
The same logic applies to dog breeds that aren’t designed to go out in the snow.
If you’re letting your dog out to go pee, it’s probably not necessary for you to protect his feet.
However, if you’re taking your dog on a long walk through the woods and the ground is snowy and cold, doggy boots are important.
While dogs have tough paw pads, some are susceptible to frostbite and should be protected just like you’d wear gloves to protect your fingers.
If your dog spends a lot of time outside in the snow but isn’t built for cold weather, it might be a good idea to invest in a pair of dog booties. You can find them in any pet store!
Myth #4 – It’s Safe for Dogs to Eat Snow
Snow is just solidified rain water, so it’s totally safe for your dog to eat it, right?
The answer to this question really depends on where you live.
If you live in the suburbs or city, it can actually be very dangerous for your dog to eat snow.
The reason: Snow plows and ice trucks often dump dangerous chemicals on the roads to keep them from icing over. These chemicals can then spill over into the snow and make your dog extremely sick if he ingests it.
If you live out in the country where the roads aren’t treated with chemicals, then it’s typically safe for your dog to eat the snow. Just ensure it’s clean snow and there’s no trash hidden in it!
And don’t forget…moderation is key!
In a nutshell…be aware of your surroundings, and use your best judgment. A bowl of clean water is always the best and safest option for your pup.
If your dog really loves eating frozen treats, spoil him with one of these popsicle recipes.
Myth #5 – You Can Leave Your Dog in a Car during the Winter Because It’s Not Hot
Last but not least, a lot of people think it’s okay to leave a dog in a car during the winter months because it’s no longer hot outside.
There are a few flaws in that logic.
First, just because it’s not hot out doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t hot.
All cars are like little mini-greenhouses. As the day goes on, the sun has the power to warm your car up. And depending on the outside temperature, the solar heat in your car can definitely reach temps that aren’t safe for your pup.
Second, it’s possible that it could get too cold in your car—especially on a cloudy day.
If your heat is not running and you leave your dog out in your car for too long, he might get dangerously cold.
Finally, cars aren’t always the safest places for dogs, regardless of the temperature. For example, someone could easily steal your pup from your car, or your dog could get into something that could hurt him when left alone.
If you’re running a quick errand like dropping a check off at the bank, then your pup should be fine in your car. However, if you’re going to be away from your dog for more than 15 minutes or if you are going to be parked in the full sunshine, it’s best to just leave your dog at home.
Myth #6 – Dogs Can Be Left Outdoors As Long As They Are in a Kennel
Leaving your dog outside without protection is bad. But leaving a dog outside in freezing weather with access to a kennel is okay, right?
Well…the answer is sort of yes and no.
There are some thick-coated dogs, such as huskies, that can be left outside as long as they have a place where they can get out of the rain/wind/snow.
However, there are also tons of other breeds—like Chihuahuas or Labs—that just don’t have the right coat types for staying warm in freezing temperatures.
Also, do your research, and talk to your vet before leaving your dog outside overnight—even if you have a kennel.
Myth #7 – Dogs Only Need a Blanket on the Floor to Stay Warm and Comfortable
Yes, there are some dogs that have thick coats and prefer sleeping on hard, cold surfaces such as hardwood floors or tile.
However, many—if not most—dogs would prefer a comfy, cozy dog bed.
Why?
First, a thick dog bed can help keep a dog warm and cozy on freezing days.
Second, much like humans, cold weather can cause a dog’s joint pain to flare up or make a dog more stiff. For this reason, it’s nice to give a dog the option to lay somewhere soft and warm up.
Personally, my dogs love cozying up with a warm alpaca blanket.

Once you’ve picked your winners, email them and let them know, then get them to share their experience on Facebook, Twitter, and any other social platform you can think of.
You can always follow up with the winners of your campaign at a later time to prompt more free promotion by interviewing them about how they like their prize and getting them to send pictures in that you can share across your email and social campaigns in the future. Sometimes, winners will happily share the story about their win with the world – and this is great press for you.
Remember, there are 1.79 billion active users on Facebook every month. That’s nearly 2 billion people that can read your story and learn more about your brand. Sharing the results of the “big win” not only helps to get people more excited the next time you run a competition, but it generates more content for you and builds your authenticity. After all, the last thing you want is for all of your non-winners to think that you didn’t really give anyone the grand prize.
A Couple of Golden Rules to Keep in Mind
Before you run off to get your competition going, remember that there are a few extra factors to be aware of if you want to run a killer contest campaign. For example:
Your prizes need to be relevant to what your company does. In other words – if you’re a shoe shop, then you can’t offer prizes that are for free flowers or free wax. No one will know what the heck is going on and you won’t be promoting yourself effectively.
Set big goals to help you keep on track. The more you can track your journey to success with little benchmarks and smaller goals, the more chances you have of seeing what goes right – and what goes wrong with your competition campaign. This means that you’ll be better prepared next time around.
Check rules and regulations – Before you get your competition started, remember to check up with the legal department in your business for tips on laying out your terms and conditions.

Learning to read at a young age is important for the development of the child. It helps them develop a better understanding of their surroundings, allows them to gather information from printed materials, and provides them with a wonderful source of entertainment when they read stories and rhymes. Children develop at different rates, and some children will develop reading skills quicker than other children; however, what's important is that as the parent, you are keenly aware of your child's maturity and reading level to provide them with appropriate books and activities to help them improve.
As parents, you are the most important teacher for your children. You will introduce your child to books and reading. Below we have some tips to help you teach your child to read.
Teach Your Child How to Read Tip #1
Teach your child alphabet letters and sounds at the same time. Studies have shown that children learn best when they are taught the letter names and letter sounds at the same time. In one study, 58 preschool children were randomly assigned to receive instructions in letter names and sounds, letter sound only, or numbers (control group). The results of this study are consistent with past research results in that it found children receiving letter name and sound instruction was most likely to learn the sounds of letters whose names included cues to their sounds. [1]
When teaching your child the letter sounds, have them slowly trace the letter, while saying the sound of the letter at the same time. For example, if you were teaching your child the letter "A", you would say:
"The letter A makes the /A/ (ah) sound."
Then have your child say the /A/ sound while tracing the letter with his or her index finger.
Teaching a Child How to Read Tip #2
When teaching your child to read, always emphasize with them that the proper reading order should be from left to right, and top to bottom. To adults, this may seem so basic that anyone should know it. However, our children are not born with the knowledge that printed text should be read from left to right and top to bottom, and this is why you'll sometimes see children reading from right to left instead - because they were never explicitly taught to read from left to right. When teaching your child how to read, always emphasize this point with them.
Teach Your Child How to Read Tip #3
Teach final consonant blends first. Teaching words such "at" and "and" can lead your child directly to learning words that rhyme with these. For example, for "at", you can have:

Chat
For "and", you can have these rhyming words:
Sand
Band
Land
Hand
Stand
Bland
Brand
Grand
and so on...
You can start teaching blends once your child has learned the sounds of some consonants and short vowel sounds. You don't need to wait until your child has mastered the sounds of all the letters before teaching blends.
Learning to read is a long process, but it doesn't have to be a difficult process. Broken down into intuitive and logical steps, a child as young as two years old can learn to read, and older children can accomplish even more.
