Cottage cheese and cinnamon cake ππ
Ingredients:
300 g of well-drained cottage cheese
6 eggs
zest of a lemon
125 g of flour
250 g sugar (I used brown sugar)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
130 gr of butter
Preparation:
Using a fork, crush the cottage cheese very well.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese with the sugar and softened butter until you obtain a homogeneous cream.
Add the egg yolks, lemon zest and cinnamon powder and mix everything well.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, add to the previous preparation, slowly mixing without beating.
Finally add the flour and yeast, mixing well.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180ΒΊ.
After removing from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before unmolding.
Decorate with powdered sugar or to your liking.
