  • Like every kind of wood-like flooring, vinyl floors require a great deal of care. In order to keep it shiny and beautiful for a long time, it’s imperative that you have the right cleaning tool at hand. In this list, you’ll find some of the best  mops for Vinyl floors on the market. Check them out!

    1. VMAI Cordless Electric Spin Mop

Electric spin mops are becoming more and more popular these days. The greatest advantage of having one of these is that you don’t have to push and pull the mop back and forth to clean like with traditional models. Armed with an electric motor, the mops rotate at high speed when placed on the floor. So, all you have to do is guide the mop right on top of the dirty spot and it will do the work for you.

The VMAI cordless electric spin mop is a good option in this category.

Inside of this vinyl floor mop  is a double-motor design, which can spin the circular mopping pads at the bottom to a high rate of 280 revolutions per minute. Don’t worry, despite the high speed, we’ve tested the mop out on our own vinyl floors. No damage (scratches, scuffs) was seen.

The mop is cordless and uses a detachable, 2550 mAh battery for power. You can get around 30-40 minutes of cleaning time. Once the battery has run dry, it takes 2 to 3 hours for it to recharge.

It has a spray function and comes with a 300ml water tank. You can fill the tank with plain water or the floor detergent of your liking. On the handle of the mop is a spray button, allowing you to control precisely the amount of liquid you want to dispense onto the floor. We like how the sprayer doesn’t saturate the floor. Rather, it only mists it.

    2. Masthome Flat Dust Mop

Best Mop for Vinyl Floors: Buying Guide and TOP Suggestions

Mopping doesn’t always involve liquid or detergent. Dry mopping without water can pick up all of the dust and debris from your floor, protecting it from being damaged and maintaining its aesthetic. When you dry mop, a standard microfiber mop works … but not well. That’s where the Masthome flat dust mop comes in with its chenille mopping pads.

This  best mop for Vinyl floors comes with two kinds of pads: standard microfiber pads and chenille pads. The chenille pads have very large, fibrous piling. This dense piling allows them to efficiently pick up dust and debris when you track the mop across the floor.

All pads are washable and reusable.

Beside the new type of mopping pad, the Masthome is a rather basic mop. It has an aluminum handle with adjustable length. The handle measures 43.3 inches at its shortest. You can add an extension pole (included in the box) to the handle to extend it all the way to 27.5 inches.

The cleaning head is attached to the handle via a 180° swiveling joint. This joint improves mobility greatly, allowing you to maneuver around furniture and within tight spaces.

    Conclusion

It should be quite easy to pick between the two, considering how they’re vastly different not just in terms of pricing, but also design and offered features. Depending on what you need and your preferences, make your selection accordingly!
