Can't login to my account

If you can't log in, it is always because of one of these causes below. Each paragraph has instructions about how you can fix it to be able to log in again.

I am being directed back to the login page immediately when I have entered my login details.
If you get directed back to the login page instead of the member area after you fill in your login details and click Log in, and there isn't any other error message, you are entering an incorrect password or username. You can also see if this is the case in the website URL. If the URL ends with "invlogin" after you've been directed to the login page directly when you enter your login details, the username and password combination is incorrect.

Passwords are case sensitive, and there can't be any spaces in, before or after them. The fastest and simplest way for you to fix this log in problem is to click the Resend login details link on the log in page. Enter the email you use for your account and you will get an email immediately with your username and a new password.

Once you have used it to log in, you can either keep that password or change it on the Account Settings page under the Account menu. You should never use the same password as in any other site or the same as you had before. If the email doesn't appear in your inbox, simply check the junk or spam folder and/or Whitelist admin@hungryforhits.com in your email account to prevent that these types of emails go to your junk or spam folder again.


I am being directed back to the login page when I click something in the member area.
If you get logged out when you click something once you have reached the member area, your browser cache is full. Clear out your browser history (cache and cookies) and it will be fixed.


It says my account is unverified.
If you enter your login details and you get a message saying that your account is unverified, you must verify your account. If you just signed up, you have gotten an email to the address you used to register for Hungry For Hits with a verification link. You must click that link before you can log in. We do this to make sure that real people with real email addresses use Hungry For Hits. Please note that you must also verify your account again if you change your email address.

If your account has been verified before but you still get the message it is unverified, it is because our emails don't reach you. The most common issue is that your email inbox is full. Simply clear some space in it and click the Resend verification code link on the log in page, enter the email you use for your account and a new verification mail will be sent to you instantly. If the email doesn't appear in your inbox, simply check the junk or spam folder and/or Whitelist admin@hungryforhits.com in your email account to prevent that these types of emails go to your junk or spam folder again.


I am locked out due to too many login attempts.
If your or someone else has tried to access your account with the wrong username and/or password too many times, or from too many IPs in a short period of time, it will be temporarily locked. This is a security feature to protect your account. Click the Resend login details link on the log in page so you get new, correct login details before you try to login again. Enter the email you use for your account and you will get an email immediately with your username and a new password.

However, if you have a dynamic IP address that changes often, it is possible you would get locked out even though no one else tried to access your account. Please contact support, and we will make an exception for your account, so that this doesn't happen again.
