    Orange and Almond Cake

    Ingredients

    Orange - 2 Mediums
    Eggs - 6
    Sugar – 265gr
    Almond Flour – 250gr (Or Finely Crushed Almond)
    Yeast - 1 Teaspoon
    Vanilla - 1 Teaspoon
    Almond - For Sprinkling (Laminated)
    Powdered Sugar - For Sprinkling (Optional)

    Instructions

    Start by placing the oranges in a small pot with water until the oranges are covered, bring to a high heat until it starts to boil, then lower to the minimum and let it cook slowly for about 2 hours.
    When the 2 hours have passed, preheat the oven to 180ΒΊC and prepare a mold lined with non-stick paper.
    Remove the oranges from the water and remove only the stalks of the oranges, pour them into a crusher with peel, seeds, everything, grind until you get a super smooth puree, leave aside to cool, do not add the hot oranges to the mixture.
    In a bowl beat the sugar with the eggs until you get a very smooth cream, then add the orange puree, followed by the vanilla extract, beat well.
    Finally add the sifted almond flour with the yeast, mix without beating until the dough is very smooth.
    Pour the dough into the form lined with non-stick paper and sprinkle the top with almonds on slides, bake for about 50 minutes to 1 hour until well done, chop the center with a toothpick if it comes out dry then it's ok roasted.
    Take it out of the oven and let it cool a little before unmolding, you can also serve it sprinkled with powdered sugar, good appetite.
