What is your marketing strategy? If you are
simply posting your company's splash page,
banner or text ad, are you any different than
the hundreds of other marketers that are
promoting that same affiliate program?

The answer is obvious. So what do you to
set yourself apart? Simple. Build your brand.
Try your best to draw attention to you. Promote
you. Offer people some value. Help as many as
you can. Once people begin to recognize you, they
begin to know, like and trust you and, once you
get there, your online success is just a matter of
time.

It is a competitive world out there and affiliate
marketing is no different.

If you owned a burger stand, you would want
to have the best recipe, the cleanest, best
looking burger stand, really outstanding
customer service and the best price for your
burger. What does this mean?

It simply means that, if you want your
burger stand to be successful, you have
to stand out. You have to provide
the best value. It is the only way you're
going to sell your burgers to customers.
After all, there's another burger stand on
the next block so how do people choose
between the two? Why would they come
to your burger stand? Well, the answer is
pretty obvious isn't it? People will go
where they get the best value. In fact,
people might even be prepared to pay
more for your burger if all those other
factors I mentioned above are superior
to those offered by the burger stand on
the next block.

If you're an affiliate marketer, how do
you offer better value? After all, your
HFH banner looks exactly the same as
those posted by many hundreds of
others who are promoting Hungry for
Hits! If you had your HFH banner posted
on a traffic exchange, for example, why
would someone click on it? They're
everywhere aren't they! I think you can
see that, if you are just posting your
splash pages, banners, text ads, safelist
emails etc etc etc. doing so really isn't
getting you too far.

So how you do you separate yourself
from all of the many thousands of other
affiliate marketers out there who have
their ads all over TE's, Safelists, Social
Media, free classifieds and so on? Well,
the answer is that you can't....unless......
you find a way to offer more value than
the all of the other affiliate marketers out
there. This is how you stand out.



So, what if you could offer something to other
marketers, something that no one else has
that would make it easier for those other
marketers to succeed? I have heard people
suggest that you could, for example, blog
about something you really love doing, a
hobby for example. In that way, you could
offer others who are interested in the same
hobby tips on ways to get more enjoyment
out of the hobby, or information on places
where they could get better or less expensive
materials for their hobby. But then people
object by saying 'oh i'm no good at writing.
I can never think of what to say. Or, I'm a
horrible speller I could never do a blog'.

Well, what if there was a way to have a blog
done for you...free of charge...that you could
post? In that free blog post that you now
have in your possession, you could insert
your links and banners and, people that
are interested in that hobby might be
interested in what is contained in your
blog post. And, when they read your
post, they will see your banners, links etc.
Now that they know you as someone with
a similar interest, that person might be
inclined to buy your product or join you
in your business! Now imagine what might
happen if someone, for free, offers to
write your blog posts for you that talk
about your hobby. Can you see how,
having such an asset would separate
you from the crowd? You now have a
done-for-you blog that you can post.
And, in your blog posts, you insert links
to the programs you are promoting!



But you say, but Grant, that's not realistic.
No one is going to do that for me for free!

I have a question for you that will, potentially,
make a huge difference in the way you
promote HFH. Here it is. How would you like
to post your HFH splash page link once...and
have it seen an unlimited number of times...
without you doing anything else? As a matter
of fact, how would you like to promote your
primary business AND your link to HFH and
have that link seen an unlimited number of
times? Fantasy? No. Not at all.

That is precisely what an autoresponder can
do for you. Here's what I mean. Do you
promote the link for your HFH splash page
on a traffic exchange? Of course. Many of us
do. I did that myself for a long time. But not
anymore.



What I do now is this. I post a link to a lead
capture page. Once a person opts in, they
go to a page of my choosing. That is usually
the sales page to my primary business. Now
it is highly unlikely that the person will join
my business right away. Why is that?

Did you know that people, on average, need
to be exposed to your offer seven times before
they make the decision to take you up on
your offer? That is to say, they need to see
your offer, on average, seven times before
they make the decision to buy from you or
join you in your business. You see, people do
business with people they know, like and
trust. So the question then becomes, how
can people get to know you, like you and
trust you if they see your ad once and then
move along? The obvious answer is that they
cannot get to know you, like you or trust you
if all you are doing is posting your link, just
like many thousands of others, only to have
that person look at your ad and then move
along. This is the reason why so many people
never succeed online.







When a person opts in to my lead capture
page (LCP), they will then go to my primary
business sales page BUT the very next day
they will receive an email from me. Accordingly,
I have ANOTHER chance to let them see my
offer! In that email, I can include my
HFH banner. Perhaps that person might
still not be interested in joining me in my
primary business and that person might
not join me at HFH. BUT, the very next
day that person gets another
email from me where I ONCE AGAIN, get to
show that person my offer AND that person
will YET AGAIN, see one of my HFH banners.
This happens over and over and over again.
Can you see how an email series dramatically
improves my chances of having that person
join me in my primary business and, as well,
dramatically improves my chances of having
that person join me here at HFH? Remember
that all of this happens after I have posted
my link one time only!

Now, I'm not trying to sell you anything here.
What I AM asking you to do, is take a look

I suppose, to many, that might seem to be a rather silly question. On the surface, you might think that most people think well of themselves, that they have a little bit of self-esteem or a reasonably good self-image.

That, however, is often not the case. Remember Robin Williams? Robin was a very funny comedian, an accomplished actor, handsome and he became very wealthy because of his immense talents. But, sadly, Robin eventually took his own life. We are told that, on the inside, he was tormented and very sad by what he saw in the outside world.

There are people who, outwardly, are very beautiful or handsome. But yet, many of those same people are tormented by self-condemnation or self-loathing. Anorexia is a good illustration of this issue. A person suffering from anorexia will look in the mirror and see someone who is obese. Some, sadly, literally starve themselves to death because of their distorted self-image.

What do you think about yourself? Not superficially but, in your quiet moments, do you think of yourself, truly think of yourself, as worthy, capable, intelligent, loving, harmonious, joyful, blessed, attractive? Do you see lack and limitation or do you see prosperity in your life?

What you think about yourself way down deep inside determines your possibilities in life. In other words, if you think you're the type of person who never gets any breaks, well, then you are unlikely to get any good breaks in life. Henry Ford said "whether you think you can, or you can't, you're right". Some people never even try because they think they can't. Your success in business depends upon whether you believe that you are worthy of success and that you, if fact, see yourself as a success. "...whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap" Galatians 6:7

The truth is that you are what you think. And, if you have doubts or fears about what you can or can't accomplish, then those negative thoughts can be changed. If you find yourself entertaining a negative thought, change that immediately. Affirm, for example, as Louise Hay suggested...."I can do it". Sound silly? I can tell you that it is not. Positive affirmations, repeated over and over, have a way of sinking down deep into your subconscious mind and, soon, you begin to believe what you affirm.

Irrespective of where your self-image is at, no one is perfect. Accordingly, we can all benefit from the practice of thinking and saying out loud our positive affirmations. "Yes I can". "I am worthy". "I am valuable". "I have talents no one else has". Invest your affirmations with belief. Feel that what you affirm is true.

Practice the art of affirming positive truths. So doing will have a profound impact on your life. I guarantee it.

We all know the phrase 'the money is in the
list'. Ever asked yourself why that is? Well the
answer is very simple really. If you are just
putting your website out there, or a banner
or text ad, viewers come along and take a
look but, if they don't make the decision to
buy from you right there and then, in that
case they just move along and you have
lost that potential prospect forever.







Well what if you could stay in touch with that
person...forever? Well you can! How? With
a capture page and an email follow-up series!
See if a person is just curious about your
offer, they will fill in their name and email
or maybe just their email address on your
lead capture page. And just like in the
earlier example, that person may not make
the decision to buy from you or join you
in your business right there and then, but with
your email follow up series that is sent to them automatically, you can promote
your offer to that person over and over again
up to infinity!







In this way, you can send your offer, or other offers, to that prospect over and over. I think you can
easily see that your chances of attracting
that person to your business goes up immensely.
And, as that person is exposed to your
email follow-up messages, you have more
and more chances to show that person
that you are a person worthy of doing
business with. In other words, a relationship
develops between you and your prospect.



We know that people buy from those they
know, like and trust. That is why I titled this
post in the way that I did. Marketing anything
is about building relationships! Think of it this
way, if you wanted to renovate your kitchen,
you would hire a contractor that you know,
like and trust. If you didn't know a contractor,
you would ask someone who you know, like
and trust to recommend someone to you.

In my marketing, I have email follow-up series
that are 50 letters long! And I can share
that email follow-up series with my team!
In this way, we all prosper much more than
if we're just posting our links for visitors to
see one time only.

So, dear reader, if you haven't already, make
sure you add an autoresponder to your
marketing tool kit. Personally, I use Traffic

Success does not just flow from the power of positive thinking as many used to preach. The key is the feeling
that is generated by those positive thoughts.
When you think a thought, that thought
generates a feeling. For example, when
you think about that ornery neighbor who
has a dog that barks constantly, you might
feel the negative feeling of anger.
Correspondingly, when you think about your partner or your children, you will generate good feelings.

Esther Hicks (Abraham Hicks) teaches us
that we should always strive to feel good
because it is that good feeling that will
attract life's blessings to you. Neville
Goddard as well taught that the 'feeling
is the key' meaning, as Esther Hicks teaches,
that it is the good feeling that you feel when
you are thinking about good things that
attracts to you the good things in life.

What do you think about all day long? Do
your best to think thoughts that make you
feel good. This will take some practice but,
if you persist, you will find, as I stated in my
previous post, that your life will take on a
whole new trajectory.

Watch for my next post where I will explain
why this is. A hint is that the cosmic power
within each and every one of us, quite simply
stated, cannot fail.

prosperous", "God's river of peace flows
through me now and all the days of my life",
"thanks to the universe for supporting me,
sustaining me, helping me, assisting me,
guiding me, prospering me".

Pay attention to what you are thinking.
When you find the army of the aliens
invading your mind, immediately replace
those thoughts of lack and limitation
with thoughts of abundance, peace love
and joy. If you are sincere and affirm
positive thoughts regularly and
systematically, you will soon find that
your life takes on a whole new trajectory
that is successful along all lines.

It is said that all things are possible when you believe.

In my view, belief is the factor that outweighs all others when we talk about what it takes to succeed. Many teachers throughout the ages have taught that important life principle.







Think about it for a moment. You may think that you are determined, you may think that you are focused and maybe you are both of those things. You may even be telling yourself that you are committed to success. But do you believe that your success is possible? If you don't really believe it, that lack of belief is eventually going to sabotage all of your efforts even if you keep telling yourself that you are committed, focused, determined and so on. So ask yourself one simple question...do I believe?

Now belief can be cultivated. If your attitude is "I can do it" then reinforcing that maxim in your mind over and over will, eventually, sink down into your subconscious mind and, like learning to ride a bicycle, your believe in yourself and your success will propel you toward the success that you desire.

Are you committed to building an online
business? I mean truly committed? Many
people fool themselves into thinking
that they are in business but are not
really doing what is required to succeed.

Part of the problem with commitment is
that you can join many, if not most,
online programs for free. Being a free
member at an affiliate program, let's
face it, does not provide you with
a great deal of motivation. Unlike
the entrepreneur who decides to start
her or his own restaurant must invest
many thousands of dollars in rent,
utilities, inventory, and so on. That
level of investment is a great
motivational force. Many owners
of restaurants put in very long hours
during the week if they hope to succeed.



Accordingly, if you hope to succeed online
you must be prepared to truly treat your
business as just that...a business. So, if
you haven't already, make that
commitment today. So doing will
dramatically improve your chances
of succeeding online.

Are you focused on your online business?
Focus means that you are concentrating. It
means that you are not spread too thin.
If you are not focused, you are not promoting
your business like you should. Are you trying
to promote too many things? If you are, you
are spread too thin. Your ad dollars do not go
as far as they should and you are not as

that you should be. Think about it. If you are
not as focused as you should be, take steps

In his masterwork Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill wrote the following: "When Henley wrote the prophetic lines, 'I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul,' he should have informed us that we are the masters of our fate, the captains of our souls because we have the power to control our thoughts. He should have told us that our brains become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our minds and, by means with which no man is familiar, these 'magnets' attract us to the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts."

Hill went on to say "...these principles...are the invention of no one man. The principles have worked for many men. You can put them to work for your own enduring benefit."

...and from page 49 of Think and Grow Rich... "When faith is blended with thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into it's spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer...repetition of affirmation of orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of faith...any impulse of thought which is repeatedly passed on to the subconscious mind is, finally, accepted and acted upon by the subconscious mind which proceeds to translate that impulse into it's physical equivalent by the most practical procedure available."


This is what Dr. Wayne Dyer says about it..."[T]he Law of Attraction works when you surround yourself with people who are on a spiritual path similar to your own. Remember, this law states that like is attracted to like so you attract Source energy to you by being like it. Similarly, when you're continually in the company of low-energy, angry, depressed, shaming, hateful people, you'll probably find life a little more challenging." (Dr. Wayne Dyer, "Inspiration", Hay House Books).


The following passage is taken from Joel Osteen "Your Best Life Now"...

"[Y]our own wrong thinking can keep you from God's best. You, too, may have assumed that you have already peaked, that you've reached your limits in life, that you will never be more successful. 'I'll never achieve significance, do something meaningful, or enjoy the good things in life that I've seen others enjoy.' Sad to say, you are exactly right...unless you are willing to change your thinking. That's why the first step to living life at your full potential is to enlarge your vision. See your family prospering. See your dreams coming to pass. You must conceive it and believe it is possible if you ever hope to experience it. Are You Building Your Brand?

People buy from those they know, like and trust. Successful marketers know that very well and, accordingly, the thrust of their marketing efforts is to build relationships. How else will people get to know you if you're not building relationships? A key marketing tool is a system that will allow you to engage people and then follow up with them. Email marketing is an effective way to follow up with prospects and customers.

But how do you get people to know you in the first place? The answer is simple. You must take steps to build your brand. One of the things for those of you who are new to internet marketing is that you must have a good, recent photo attached to your social profiles and postings. Doing so helps people recognize you! Alternatively, if you market through a company, you must have a logo that is eye-catching so that, through continuous exposure, people begin to recognize the logo and associate that logo with your brand. One only has to think about the 'golden arches' or the Coke or Pepsi logos to understand the importance of a well-recognized logo.



Once again, for those of you who are new to internet marketing, building a brand is not something that happens overnight. This process takes some time, and yes, some patience. But if you are consistent, soon people will begin to recognize you or your logo. And, by the way, speaking of consistency, that is a very important thing to keep in mind. People need to see that you are active out there in cyberspace. You need to keep your image out there in front of people on a consistent basis. Your message also needs to show some consistentcy. Consistency helps build buyer recognition and familiarity.

So, especially for those of you who are members of affiliate programs, you have realized very quickly that affiliate marketing is intensely competitive. If you're not building your brand your ad is just another faceless, nameless image out there on the net. If you are not building your brand, your marketing efforts are building the business of someone else!

So, if you have not been building your brand, now is a good time to start! Make sure to provide value. After all, we rise by lifting others.

Start building your brand. Success will ultimately come to those of you who do!

He stays there until about 3 p.m. at which point he goes home and sleeps until about 7 or 8 p.m. He then returns to his restaurant and keeps it open for the bar crowd. Often, he does not leave until 2 or 3 a.m. And, of course, he is there at 6 a.m. the next day. That is commitment!






Are you committed to your endeavour? Ask yourself the question for, if the answer is ultimately no, then you should save yourself the time and the effort of starting. If you are not fully committed, the chances of your success are low indeed!

The story of Mister John
For more than forty years, the church custodian known as Mister John offered his fix-it skills to help others in a small Florida town. He and his wife Laverne, the church secretary, were the town's good Samaritans. They didn't have much, but they were the people to call if your fence needed fixing, your car broke down, or your kids needed clothes for school.

Then suddenly the tables were turned. A few years after Mister John and Laverne retired from their church jobs, a fire broke out in their old wood-frame cottage. Half of their home was destroyed. Before the couple could salvage what remained of their belongings, theives broke in. They ripped out the copper plumbing and flooded what was left of the house, destroying everything in it.
There wasn't enough insurance money to rebuild. Times were hard for everyone. The recession had left many in their town unemployed, struggling to get by. Mister John and Laverne did not want to add to anyone's burden by asking for help.

What they didn't realize was that it was their time. It was their time to reap the rewards of their faith, kindness and unselfishness. After so many years of blessing others, it was their time to be blessed.

Mister John and Laverne didn't have to ask for help. Friends and neighbors simply showed up one by one. The pitched in, offering money, food, furniture, clothing, and a place to stay.



Then a local builder came forward. His business had slowed some too, but he'd done well over the years building luxury homes. And he had never forgotten that twenty years earlier, as a teenage volunteer at his church, he'd been taught basic carpentry skills by the kindly Mister John.
'I've been waiting all my life to repay him', the builder said. And so he recruited an architect, roofers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and other tradespeople to build Mister John and Laverne a new home nearly twice the size of their old one. They donated their time and materials, and they raised money to pay what the insurance did not cover. When the grateful elderly couple moved into their beautiful new cottage, they called it, 'the house that love built.'



God has a way even when it looks like there is no way. God has put promises into every heart. You have dreams and desires, things you want to accomplish, situations you want to see changed. But so often you gave up on those dreams, because it took so long, or because you tried and failed, or because you went through a disappointment, or because somebody didn't treat you right.
You may have become complacent. Maybe you are not pursuing what God put into your heart. But I want to encourage you today to get your fire back. You have to stay filled with hope. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. He is saying that no matter how long it's been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you'll stay in faith, your time is coming.
It's time to believe.

Every dream that's in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put there but has every intention of bringing it to pass. I want you to have this attitude: My time is coming. I've been giving and giving. I haven't seen a lot of results, but that's ok. I know my time is coming.

Success in any endeavor requires patience, determination, persistence and, most importantly, a belief in yourself. Once you form a clear vision of your future, you must adopt a 'never-say-die' attitude. If you quit, you will never succeed. That is obvious. But sometimes people give up just as they are about to succeed. They don't realize how close they are. Sometimes all it takes is just a little tweak in what you're already doing. Sometimes, well, just a lucky break. If you are determined to succeed, nothing can prevent you from doing so. Do you have what it takes?

Success requires, first and foremost, that you be clear about what you want. Without a clear vision of that which you desire, you are like a ship without a rudder. You have to know where you're going. Get clear. It is critical to your success that you get clear about what you want.

Understanding who you are is the key to the exercise of your personal power. Most people are not aware of their power. There are only a few, simple principles which, when understood, lead to a very successful, almost magical life.

Are you a positive person? Or are you a complainer? Most people will never admit that they have a negative personality. But the truth is, what you think and say on a daily basis determines the trajectory your life takes. Ancient seers, philosophers, mystics, truth teachers and metaphysicians, through the centuries, have understood this principle. The modern science of quantum physics is now confirming these ancient truths.

Jesus said "life and death are in the power of the tongue. by your words you are justified and by your words you are condemned". This simply means that, if you utter hateful words, the universe will give you hate. If you cheat people, you will be cheated. If you give love, you will be loved. You attract to yourself what you think and say.
